Covid-19 Statement

Jack Bunneys would like to take this opportunity to reassure our clients of the measures we have taken in regards to the spread of the Covid-19 virus.  

1. Made to Measure & Made to Order Suits:  As many of you are aware, all of our manufacturing is carried out across Europe.  With fabrics being supplied from the U.K. (or Italy) and the manufacturing completed in France and Germany.  This has lead to some short-term delays in manufacturing.  Due to a decrease in the workforce across Europe and issues with distribution, caused by Covid-19.  Please be assured that we are on top of any delays and are in constant contact with our European partners.   Manufacturing and distribution are continuing, we do not anticipate missing any time critical deadlines.  

2. Wedding Suit Hire:  Our hire department is exceptionally busy.  This is the case every year and despite the current situation this service is still in high demand.  All of our hire suits are manufactured by us, in Germany.  We have a constant supply of suits in make throughout the year, always topping up our considerable stock.  However manufacturing and distribution may be delayed as we move though the year.  With this in mind we may limit the quantity of suits available for hire.  Rest assured if you have a booking in place, this is unaffected. 

3. In the shop:  Jack Bunneys is a small family business.  Each member of staff is essential to the smooth running of the business.  If any of our staff fall ill over the next few weeks, they will, of course, self-isolate.  This could lead to cancellation of appointments.  Please be patient, we will be trying our best and will stay in touch with you if any appointments are cancelled.   In the shop we are cleaning all surfaces regularly throughout the day.  All staff are washing their hands regularly and using hand sanitiser too.   

4. What can you do to help:  We are requesting that all customers visit our shop wash their hands before entering and bring their own Shirts and Shoes with them.  We are also requesting that all customers refrain from shaking hands.  If you have an appointment booked with us, please try to keep us up to date with any changes.  We can then adjust our staffing levels depending on the level of appointments booked on a particular day.  

5. Cancellations/Deposits:  If the worse case scenario was to happen and your wedding is either cancelled or postponed, unfortunately Jack Bunneys would be unable to offer a refund of the deposit paid for either your hire or suit to be made.  These are non-refundable deposits.  In regards to ‘Wedding Hire’ we will transfer any deposit paid to a new postponed wedding date.  Jack Bunneys will do everything we can to help you reschedule your booking for a new wedding date.
