It is our annual run down of the top 10 wedding suit trends for the next wedding season (2026).

What is hot for 2026 wedding suits?

10.   Are Morning Tail Suits making a comeback?  There seems to be a small resurgence in traditional weddings.  And classic morning suits have started to become fashionable once again.

9.  Polka Dots.   Polka dot ties and pocket squares are all the rage.  No longer just for the business suit.  (after all who is wearing business suits in 2026!)

8.  Flannels –  Soft wool flannel is another trend for 2026 weddings.  Soft woollen fabrics with a pile, which make a great alternative to tweeds.  Lightweight, soft with an elegant drape.  This wool suits are ideal for a rustic yet formal wedding.

7.  Double Breasted –  double breasted wedding suits are on trend for 2026.  This elegant and formal look epitomises the very best of British Style and tailoring.  A move towards a formal and more conservative wedding silhouette for 2026.

4.  Velvet Tuxedos – The trend for evening wear as groom’s attire has continued to grow over recent seasons.  For this groom’s who wish to stand out in a sea of black tuxedos the only surefire way is to wear the most opulent velvet tuxedo.

3.  Puppytooth   – Puppytooth is the smaller textile design of the dog tooth or hounds tooth.  It is used for formal suits with waistcoats.  It is especially popular with the modern equivalent of the traditional British wedding suit and looks best paired with a silk tie and pocket square.
